Investment Community Roadshows

Roadshows are invaluable in elevating awareness for public companies, setting expectations on the street and outlining corporate objectives, while also providing an effective forum for feedback and follow-up. It is important that the street is watching and aware of your Company’s progress to ensure you receive a fair market valuation when major milestones are achieved.

As part of an overall investor relations program, Equicom organizes quarterly meetings with members of the professional investment community (i.e. analysts, corporate finance professionals, institutions, and investment advisors).

Feedback

Broker Relations

Equicom’s Broker Relations division seeks to increase client visibility and recognition in the capital markets, and to facilitate fair market valuation. The group is in contact with investment advisors across the country and provides these professionals with objective information on Equicom clients while receiving important feedback on how Equicom clients are perceived by the investment community.

The Broker Relations division is active in booking client roadshows and operates TSX/Equicom ‘On the Radar’, Canada’s premier monthly showcase program providing public companies with an opportunity to present their stories to the professional investment community in Canada’s main financial centres.

Financial Media Relations

Active financial media relations support the overall objectives of any investor relations program by creating wider awareness of a company’s business strategy, products and results.

Equicom uses realistic practice sessions and provides objective feedback, coaching clients in techniques that effectively impart key messages to the audience and ensure that the media interview is used as an effective communications platform.

Strong relationships with sector-specific journalists and all major national media outlets, including the National Post, the Globe and Mail, BNN (formerly ROBtv), CTV Business Newsnet, CBC Newsworld, Reuters and Bloomberg, support media-specific client initiatives. In addition, relationships have been established with French language media outlets in the province of Quebec.
